Ross Costanza Photography was deeply honored to photograph Holly and John’s intimate wedding in Raleigh, North Carolina.
Holly and John are truly the sweetest, most genuine couple! They planned their wedding in just a couple short months, and are now living their happily ever after. Their wedding day couldn’t have been more beautiful! A bright blue sky and puffy white clouds served as the perfect backdrop to the steeple that sat atop The Stone Chapel in Wake Forest, just outside of downtown Raleigh. John mingled with loved ones who were arriving, as Holly’s finishing touches were coming together. Guests began to take their seats when John and the minister made their way to the altar. Just like a scene from “A Walk to Remember,” the front doors of the church opened and Holly gracefully made her way down the aisle. The ceremony was a simple and sacred exchange of heartfelt vows and included both unity sand and wine box ceremonies. Holly and John were pronounced husband and wife, and then celebrated with their families on the church’s front steps!
Their reception took place at Bolt Bistro, a hip restaurant in downtown Raleigh. The moody lighting, elegant decor, and gold embellishments set a romantic tone for the evening. Family members gathered around one long table to celebrate, laugh, and dine. One of our favorite images of the evening showed John and his beloved grandmother laughing with each other across the dinner table. The adoration she has for her grandson and his new bride was so very evident that day. Champagne toasts and the most delicious carrot cake were (quite literally) the icing on top of the cake! We finished the evening with some dramatic couple’s portraits just outside the restaurant.
