Ross Costanza Photography had an incredible time photographing Cristina and Rick’s engagement session in downtown Norfolk, Virginia.

Rick and Cristina are SUCH a sweet and down-to-earth couple. They met following a performance where Rick heard Cristina’s beautiful singing voice for the first time. It only seems fitting that they will have their wedding reception at the Harrison Opera House!

For their engagement session, they chose a spot frequented during their early dating days. The Pagoda Garden in Downtown Norfolk offered a beautiful backdrop to showcase their sweet relationship. We tried to keep them snuggling and moving right along as the temperature that day was absolutely frigid! They allowed us to play around with some fun ideas, which in the end gave us some pretty epic images. Markia Nicole Hair + Makeup Artistry did an excellent job with Cristina’s hair and makeup that day. Through wind and cold, her look remained flawless throughout the duration of the session. The burgundy and blue colors they coordinated for their attire were the perfect combination to make their images pop.

After their session, we headed over to the 80/20 Burger Bar on 21st Street and grabbed dinner. We had a blast talking about music and their upcoming wedding. We are pumped for their October festivities and can’t wait to see how they incorporate their love for each other AND for music into the many details of the their big day.

Here is a list of vendors that helped make Cristina and Rick (even more) fabulous:
