Ross Costanza Photography was thrilled to photograph Sydney and Aaron’s destination wedding at the Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino in fabulous Las Vegas, Nevada.

Sydney and Aaron were both living in Washington D.C. when they met online. Graduating from the same alma mater, they felt an instant connection and began their modern day romance. It didn’t take long for them to fall in love, and before long, Aaron dropped to one knee and popped the big question while they were vacationing in Mexico. Friends and family were all thrilled! From the moment Aaron brought Sydney back home, she landed a special place in the hearts of those closest to Aaron.

When the wedding planning commenced, the thought of spending a week of fun and adventure with those closest to them was the way they wanted to enjoy their wedding festivities. Las Vegas seemed like the perfect spot to say their “I dos!” Sydney did an incredible job of scheduling activities each day of their wedding week for everyone to connect and have a great time. From Cirque du Soleil and fine dining to relaxing poolside with drinks in hand, each day had some element of excitement and celebration.

When their wedding day finally arrived, family members helped implement Sydney’s STUNNING vision for the dinner reception decor at the Mandalay Bay steakhouse, StripSteak. Her impeccable taste was brought to life in the form of gold and sequined embellishments, accents of gorgeous florals, porcelain tile name placements, and elegant baseless champagne flutes. The restaurant’s dim lighting and flickering candlelight brought the ambiance to life.

Even though Ross was a groomsman in the wedding, it was such an honor to be asked to capture the special moments and portraits before and after the ceremony. The ladies spent the morning relaxing and getting ready in the large bridal suite overlooking the Las Vegas strip. What an awesome view!  Well…besides the giant billboard of Robert Irvine creeping up in a few of the images.

Sydney and Aaron’s first look was what Pinterest dreams are made of. Sydney selected her favorite floor at the Mandalay Bay Resort and stood waiting in front of the elevator where her handsome groom would arrive. The doors opened, and the expression on Aaron’s face when he glimpsed his ravishing bride for the first time was absolutely priceless. They enjoyed a special moment together and then ventured down a dramatic winding staircase. After a few photos, they proceeded to the ceremony where they read the most beautiful handwritten vows to one another.

The reception was filled with laughter, heartfelt toasts, and delicious food served family-style. Old friends reconnected and new friendships emerged. Love for these two precious people filled the room in an indescribable way.

The night ended with dramatic Vegas-style portraits for both the bridal party and the lovely couple.  Unique art pieces and over-the-top displays became the drool-worthy backdrop for the photographs that will forever remind Aaron and Sydney of their perfect dream wedding.
