Norfolk Wedding and Engagement Photographer, Freemason Street | Kristin and Adam Engagement
This January engagement session on Freemason Street in Downtown Norfolk was full of love, laughs, and layers of warm clothing! The brisk winter air was enough to keep the hugs and cuddles coming, which made for a perfect photo op!
Rewind to this past summer when we had the pleasure of meeting Kristin and her mom. It was a great time getting to know one another and learning all about her upcoming wedding on the Eastern Shore of Virginia in the Summer of 2016. Kristin and Adam both attend college in Mississippi where they met, fell in love, and got engaged. He popped the big question one morning while they shared in their morning cup of coffee. An every day occurrence for them, but always a meaningful and favorite part of their day. That particular day, their morning ritual held a special significance when Adam secretly slipped the engagement ring he so carefully selected for Kristin into her coffee cup. She obviously said yes, and the rest is history!
We were thrilled to set up Kristin and Adam’s session during their Christmas break so that we would also have the pleasure of meeting Adam for the first time. We truly had so much fun (despite the frigid temperature and blustery wind), and loved the adorable way they incorporated the actual proposal into their session. The two of them could not be more perfect for each other! Their laid back personalities, sense of humor, and adorable Southern drawl are enough to make you feel like you’ve been friends forever. We are beyond excited for their June 4th wedding at the Eastern Shore Yacht & Country Club!
