Ross Costanza Photography was honored to photograph this amazing day for Katie and Mike whose wedding was in our very own Chesapeake, Virginia.
A little bit country and a little bit Rock-n-Roll, this DIY wedding was one for the books! Katie and Mike’s wedding took place at Mike’s family home in Southeastern Virginia. It was the perfect day as the sun filtered through the trees, perfectly highlighting the golden fields. As the sun dropped, one of the largest moons of 2016 rose into the sky. This Hunter’s moon was their reason for selecting October 15th as their wedding date. Katie’s vision truly came to life in a way none of us could have possibly imagined. Using vintage furniture, oil lamps, and gorgeous florals in combination with a home-built (courtesy of Mike’s family) dance floor and stage, Katie and Mike created a homey atmosphere that allowed their guests to let loose and enjoy their time of celebration. A live band played the night away. Their bluesy rock tunes kept everyone on the dance floor until it was time to send the happy couple down the sparkler-lined country road.
