Ross Costanza Photography had a blast photographing Nicole and Erik’s engagement session at Fort Monroe in Hampton, Virginia.

Nicole and Erik are such a sweet couple! Erik actually spent a portion of his growing up years with his family at Fort Monroe, so it was the ideal spot that came to mind for their March engagement session! Despite the freezing weather and brisk wind chill, we all managed to have an amazing time exploring the variety of textures and elements that make up this unique location. From the tunnels, batteries, and cistern to the gorgeous stone walls, historic homes, and gazebo, their session had no shortage of incredible backdrops.

Some of our favorite moments of their session include Nicole’s “Marilyn Monroe” moment, Erik officially declaring that his bride-to-be is “off limits,” and of course the stunning sunset that dropped behind the gazebo creating the perfect silhouette for this beautiful couple. Our RCP team couldn’t be more excited for Nicole and Erik’s December wedding at The Obici House in Suffolk, Virginia!

Here are the vendors who helped make this engagement session so fabulous:
