Why don’t you post your prices online?

Let me first address this question with a question:
Would you agree that your wedding day is going to be one of the most important days of your life?
For us, we believe that two people coming together to commit themselves for the rest of their lives is a pretty big deal. With that being said, we feel that it is our obligation to our clients (or prospective clients) to make an effort to establish communication when an inquiry is received. If we were to simply just send a sheet with numbers on it to you, that wouldn’t really do you any good. You’d have no way to gauge the quality of any product we offer, you’d know nothing about our personalities and how our process actually benefits you on the day of, etc, etc.

Look, we get it, everyone is busy (us included) but our whole purpose behind photographing weddings is to provide our clients with an exceptional product and experience from the first point of contact. Our first point of contact after receiving your inquiry is a phone call. In an age where Instagram and Gmail have set the standards of communication, we believe that having an actual conversation is so much more beneficial to both you and us.

Why is that, you ask? Truth be told, in five minutes on the phone, we can answer what would otherwise take us hours to communicate back and forth via email. That is valuable time that we all save to do fun things like hang out with our family and friends, not sit hunched over our laptops replying more emails. That leads us to the original question…”why don’t you post your prices online?” Well, it’s simple. Have you ever bought a car sight unseen? Would you ever invest thousands of dollars into something you didn’t thoroughly investigate with your own two eyes before pulling the trigger? Simply put, your Wedding Photography is an investment in yourself. It is an investment that is going to give you joy year after year after year as you celebrate every major marital milestone with your spouse. IT. IS. IMPORTANT. If we nonchalantly send you a sheet of numbers, we feel that sends the message that we simply don’t care enough about you our your day to have an honest conversation with you. We WANT to know what your wants and needs are and that is why instead of putting prices online, we make the effort to reach out personally to you. We have to both be invested in each other if there is any chance in you receiving the final result you wish for.
