Hampton Roads Wedding Photographer | Kelsie's Bridal Session
Ross and Jess had a phenomenal time creating and capturing Kelsie’s dream bridal portrait session in Hampton Roads, Virginia.
We headed out to Smithfield, Virginia to photograph Kelsie in the charming town where she grew up dreaming about all the beautiful details her future wedding would one day entail. The session began in the historic downtown area where there is a lovely, tree covered, brick pathway that leads through a well-manicured park area. The sun rays were bursting through the branches behind her, illuminating the vibrant green foliage all around us. Kelsie stole the show in her David Tutera bridal gown from Tiffany’s Bridal in Richmond, Virginia. The open back surrounded by delicate white lace was the defining feature that first caught Kelsie’s attention and ultimately prompted her to say “Yes!” to the dress. Before leaving downtown Smithfield, we paid a little visit to the front porch area in front of Kelsie and Dylan’s favorite store. She was quite the vision standing in front of the white picket fence with gorgeous pink blooms billowing over the top.
From there we drove over to Windsor Castle Park, where she had been dreaming of doing both her bridal and wedding day portraits. Kelsie’s mom loved the idea of incorporating an antique couch into some of the portraits, so we brought our favorite studio accent piece with us to make her session even more memorable. The pink pin-cushioned couch, accented by golden trim with roses carved into the wood, perfectly fit Kelsie’s vision and was the perfect complement to her gorgeous bouquet. We took advantage of all the amazing scenery – the rustic barns, bright green vineyards, and an amazing sunset over the long fence line.
Every detail perfectly fell into place, and the final portraits were out-of-this-world gorgeous as they were displayed at the wedding! Thank you to the following vendors who helped make Kelsie’s bridal session extra special:
